Who we are
Saucinco is a software testing company based in Medellín, Colombia.
Our aim is to put quality at the forefront of what we do as an organisation: making sure product delivery meets high standards and reduces risk for your customers.
Founder
Luisa most recently worked in quality assurance within a major national energy company. She is a project manager and an environmental engineer by training, with experience delivering work across Latin America and a background that also spans international project coordination and environmental management. She brings a practical, detail-focused approach to complex work, with a strong understanding of risk, accountability and delivery across diverse settings.
Founder
With more than 25 years of experience in software testing and quality, Duncan has led large-scale QA teams and delivery programmes for corporate organisations across multiple industries. His recent experience in client and account management has strengthened his understanding of what businesses need from a practical, reliable, and results-focused QA partner.
We are independent QA: we do not design or build the product we then sign off.
Tool sales are a separate line. In a QA assessment we do not recommend a tool because we sell it, and any commercial interest in a recommendation is declared in writing before the client decides.
We talk to you to find out whether we can genuinely help. If the fit is not there we say so on that call, rather than working up a proposal.
Saying something is not ready is the job. If a release should not ship, we say so, even when the date has already been announced.
A defect with no reproduction steps and no environment is not a finding, it is a comment. Everything we hand over can be checked again.
We do not hand over a report and leave. The suites, the runbooks and the judgement stay with your team, so you get where you set out to go.
We work out of Medellín and deliver across Colombia. Testers are native Spanish speakers; we use English when the buyer or the product calls for it.
